Looking at that repost by Rod, I think I would dye the curved grain green, That looks just like a crocodile coming at you.

This wood could make a great looking Ukulele! That would be one way to avoid the knots.

Okay, I get it. Put the holes in the waist of a three piece back, and cut them off, eh? Great idea. Man am I dense, it only took me three days to get it. And you are correct, there is another back piece and a side piece extra.
